LT1086 专为提供高达1.5A 的输出电流而设计。所有的内部电路均设计以在低至 1V 的输入至输出压差条件下运作，而且将压差电压作为负载电流的一个函数进行了全面的规格拟订。压差电压在多个工作点 (最高达 1.5V) 和最大输出电流条件下得到保证。当负载电流降低时，压差减小。片内修整可将基准 / 输出电压调节至 1%。另外，还可对电流限值进行调整，从而最大限度地减小过载情况下稳压器和电源电路上承受的应力。
