The PMP20981 reference design utilizes the TPS2384 PSE Power Manager to implement a single port Type 1 PoE PSE. An isolated flyback converter, utilizing the LM3481 current mode PWM controller, accepts a 12Vdc input and provides a 48Vdc/360mA output source for the PSE. This design is ideally suited for any Type 1 (15W) PoE PSE application.
