LPC54608 Based Home Irrigation (Sprinkler) System with Customizable GUI
This solution illustrates how an internet-enabled home irrigation system can be visualized and controlled through NXP’s power-efficient LPC54608 microcontroller with the TouchGFX software framework, and weather data provided by IBM Bluemix. The complete feature set on LPC54608 makes it ideal for GUI applications with internet connectivity. With dedicated DMA channel and frame buffer, the on-chip graphic LCD module provides direct support of the display without loading the CPU. Ethernet, Flexcomm, SDIO interfaces provide options for connection to wireless interfaces to internet / cloud. Draupner Graphics, an NXP Proven Partner, provides GUI design tools facilitating customer design of a smartphone-like experience, saving customer time and shortening time to market.
