8D Power Series	Esterline Control Systems	8D series power connectors are designed to meet the harshest military requirements where high power and shielding are needed. The MIL-DTL-38999 series III shell style ensures a self-locking system in order to avoid disconnection even under high vibration. Using different contact sizes and platings, 8D power connectors can reach up to 850 A at 40°C. 8D high power connectors provide a superior contact technology equipped with a silver-plated “crown” that guarantees a solution with excellence endurance, low contact resistance and no micro-disconnects under vibration. Available in 5 high-end materials and 5 platings, our 8D power connectors can withstand all of the corrosion, shock, endurance or firewall capability you will encounter. The patented self-locking system and the metallic retention clip technology make the product perfect for high vibration applications or rough handling on the field. 8D power connectors offer concrete RoHS alternative to cadmium. Esterline Connection Technologies has more than 10 years of experience in producing Zn Ni with continuous improvements to comply with military and aerospace harsh environment conditions. Our Zn Ni connectors are the first one to be qualified by US Defense standards organization (DLA Land and Maritime). It provides the most cost effective solution for a cadmium alternative finish.

SN236 Series – Fireseal High Power Feedthrough	Esterline Control Systems	The SN236 series is a fire resistant high power feedthrough ideal for engine and APU applications. Ideally suited to withstand harsh environmental conditions, the SN236 series prevents the spread of fire due to ceramic insulators (resistance to 1100°C during 15 minutes) and demonstrate high temperature resistance (up to 200°C) as well as pressure resistance (leak rate <10-6 atm.cm3/s at 1 bar pressure difference). The SN236 series success is due in part to high power lug terminations for aluminum and copper cables (up to 350 A at 600 Vrms) with an umbrella designed to prevent condensation that causes arching. Compared to “feeder” solutions (receptacle + plug + 2 backshells), the SN236 series is a time-saving interconnect solution. Custom designs can be done to adapt your specific current, contact orientation or temperature.
D-Subminiature Series	Esterline Control Systems	The D-Subminiature series is the most known input/output D-Shape connector for a wide range of applications. Widely used for screen connection, D-sub connectors offer the best price/performance ratio in protected environments, with aeronautics requirements. Compliant to aeronautic standards, our D-sub series offers you high performance in protected area. From standard #20 to high density #22, D-Sub connectors can accommodate a wide range of cable from AWG 20 to AWG 28. Removable contacts will insure easy installation and maintenance through lifetime of your system. Dust or Splash proof versions will protect intrusions in heart of your system, making it safer for a longer life.
D-Sub Backshells Series	Esterline Control Systems	The D-sub backshells series are lightweight aluminum solutions designed to fit Mil-C-24308 D-sub connectors. The product range offers many styles of EMI adaptors; strain relief options are also available. Different types of entry configuration exist (top, 45° and 90° entry; single or dual) and the EMI/RFI protection is present under different shapes of shield termination platform (oval, round, with tie-wrap arm or slotted). The screw lock option is included in the part number scheme and can be delivered with the backshell. Shorting cans, dustcaps, potting cups, protective covers and termination bands are available in catalog. Screws can be delivered with wire holes and gaskets are also offered.

Starting with mono cavity range, MQuick Series answers market expectation for modularity, quick and easy mate from installation to maintenance. Based on modular design, MQuick will open opportunities to build a wide range from certified to custom interconnect solutions. Designed and manufactured to be compliant with major standards EN4165 and BACC65. Order components separately and make it yours. From signal to high speed and power, the MQuick offering will fit your requirements. Mechanically and visually coded, MQuick is the perfect push-pull solution for quick and easy connections. Made of composite material, MQuick will fulfill all requirements without compromise: performances with optimized weight. MQuick provides direct harness to PCB solution, allowing cost savings by removing costly internal connections.
AS85049 Series - MIL-Spec Backshells	Esterline Control Systems	The AS85049 series regroups all our military standard QPL backshells. AS85049 backshells are designed to fit the main circular connectors used in our industry (MIL-DTL-26482 series II, 83723 series 1 & 3, 38999 Series I, II, III & IV); they are qualified for aluminum, stainless steel or composite material (many plating proposed). Two self-locking technologies were developed: a detented system and the SUNBANK Self-seating mechanism that exceeds the vibration requirements. A free rotatable coupling is also available. Qualified for multiple EMI/RFI designs, AS85049 SUNBANK backshells are available in banding and crimping platforms for overall shielding, dual EMI ring for overall and individual shielding. The bodies are specifically designed to optimize weight and robustness. The Self-seating locking option offers lighter weight and lower profile backshell than a detented system. SUNBANK offers AS85049/128 qualified bands as well as AS85049/93 shield support rings. Tools are also available to terminate your wiring assembly. Backshells can be ordered with various interfaces depending on the connector used. Both American and European standards are covered, such as D38999, M26482, EN2997, EN3645, M5015, etc. A wide range of SUNBANK backshells provide waterproofing and environmental sealing withstanding most severe shock, vibration, cable pullout and external bending moment.
