UTO Series - Metal IP68/69K Connector for Intensive Use | Esterline Control Systems | UTO is a circular metal connector series, with an IP68/69K sealing level and shielding capability for use in harsh environmental conditions such as high vibration levels, water or shock. It provides long life expectancy and reduces the need of connector maintenance. UTS Series - Plastic Waterproof IP68/69K Connector | Esterline Control Systems | The UTS series is a circular plastic connector with a 1/3 bayonet coupling to quickly connect and secure the connection system due to an audible click that guarantees the correct connection. Developed to be compliant with major electrical IEC and UL standards, the UTS guarantees safety conditions for the installers and users. Waterproof and UV resistance capabilities (IP68/69K sealing level) provide the UTS series long outdoor life expectancy and reduce the need of connector maintenance. VGE1 - FER1 Series | Esterline Control Systems | The VGE1 1/3 bayonet coupling series was designed for railway equipment manufacturers, subcontractors, signaling and infrastructure companies. Robust and ruggedized, VGE1 connectors are suited for 500 mating and unmating cycles and are derived from MIL-DTL-5015 and VG95234 standards. With only a 1/3 twist of the bayonet, connectors are mated with an audible click and tactile feel to confirm proper mating. This mating system eliminates uncertain connection and reduces time and labor during installation. The VGE1 connectors are resistant to salt spray as well as high vibrations and adapted for outdoor applications such as rolling stock or infrastructure equipment. Available with electrical contacts, quadrax and fiber optic technologies in the same shell design; you can customize VGE1 connectors to your application needs. ELIOBEAM Termini Series | Esterline Control Systems | ELIOBEAM termini is the expanded beam solution issued from ELIO® optical contacts. It is ideal for harsh environment as no physical contact is achieved. It fits all standard EN4531 ELIO® physical contact cavities. The ELIOBEAM fiber optics termini are designed around a robust 2.5mm metal ferrule, embedding the lens. It has the same fit&form as the traditional ELIO® physical contact termini and the assembly is also very similar The insertion and retention inside the connector is ensured by a bayonet locking mechanism without any special tool. The termini integrates a seal inside the rear boot, thus the connection is sealed from the rear side without a backshell or a grommet. The 8D ELIO® range covers layout from 1 to 24 ways in all type of material shell. ELIOBEAM can also be adapted in all #8 cavities of 8D 38999 serie III connector and ARINC 600 connector thanks to the ELIO® AQ adaptor In the female insert, the termini are flushed to the insert surface, thus removing the traditional dust collecting socket cavity design. The same termini part number can adapt tight or loose structure cable. A full range of contacts are also available with 8D connectors such as signal transmission, high speed data transmission (quadrax, twinax, coax, ELIO®). 54 QPL layouts are available in accordance with MIL-STD-1560. The 8D series is compliant with the MIL standard connector design with unique self-locking mechanism (patented by SOURIAU), visual mating indication, scoop proof, quick screw coupling and 360° shielding.
