VGE1 - FER1 Series	Esterline Control Systems	The VGE1 1/3 bayonet coupling series was designed for railway equipment manufacturers, subcontractors, signaling and infrastructure companies. Robust and ruggedized, VGE1 connectors are suited for 500 mating and unmating cycles and are derived from MIL-DTL-5015 and VG95234 standards. With only a 1/3 twist of the bayonet, connectors are mated with an audible click and tactile feel to confirm proper mating. This mating system eliminates uncertain connection and reduces time and labor during installation. The VGE1 connectors are resistant to salt spray as well as high vibrations and adapted for outdoor applications such as rolling stock or infrastructure equipment. Available with electrical contacts, quadrax and fiber optic technologies in the same shell design; you can customize VGE1 connectors to your application needs. These solutions are qualified according international railway standards: EN50467, EN45545, NFPA 130, RoHS and REACH.
SMS Series - Quick Mating Plastic Rectangular Connector	Esterline Control Systems	SMS series is a plastic rectangular connector with a quick mating mechanism, available from 3 to 36 positions. Just push to mate, press and release to unmate! This series offers a complete interconnect solution due to a wire version, a PCB version and accessory options. Cable, plug and receptacles feature pin-protection skirts, positive polarization and are offered with or without integrated strain relief hoods. With a pitch of 5.08mm and a low profile version availability, SMS series is ideal for tight space integration and high density applications. The SMS series also offers a flame retardant version compliant with EN 50467, as well UL recognized (file number E238675) and CSA certified (file number LR44961-21) for qualification of your equipment and a guarantee of safe use.
UTO Series - Metal IP68/69K Connector for Intensive Use	Esterline Control Systems	UTO is a circular metal connector series, with an IP68/69K sealing level and shielding capability for use in harsh environmental conditions such as high vibration levels, water or shock. It provides long life expectancy and reduces the need of connector maintenance. The UTO connector has 1/3 bayonet coupling which allows to quickly connect the system and to secure connection due to an audible click that guarantees the proper connection. A large choice of layouts provides you the option to mix within the same connector signal and power or copper and optics. UTO connectors are compliant with major electrical IEC and UL standards in order to guarantee safe conditions for the installers and users. Furthermore, the UTO series proposes a complete catalog of accessories to offer a shielded connection for your EMI and RFI constraints. Available with a large choice of shells, we also offer standard cable assemblies to provide a complete interconnect solution to simplify your supply chain. UTS Series - Plastic Waterproof IP68/69K Connector	Esterline Control Systems	The UTS series is a circular plastic connector with a 1/3 bayonet coupling to quickly connect and secure the connection system due to an audible click that guarantees the correct connection. Developed to be compliant with major electrical IEC and UL standards, the UTS guarantees safety conditions for the installers and users. Waterproof and UV resistance capabilities (IP68/69K sealing level) provide the UTS series long outdoor life expectancy and reduce the need of connector maintenance. A unique concept allows the UTS Hi-sealing option to maintain an IP68 even in unmated conditions. The UTS series offers a large choice of layouts with options to mix signal and power or copper and optic within the same connector. Available with a large selection of shells, a standard cable assembly offering provides complete interconnect solutions to simplify your supply chain. 838 series	Esterline Control Systems	838 series The 838 connector series is used for electrical connections in harsh environment, with strong mechanical and climatic constraints. The 838 connectors are designed with aluminium alloy shell to enable a good compromise weight versus robustness. The screw locking system withstands very strong mechanical loads. A removable coding system allows the operator to choose between 12 positions for the cabling. 852 Series	Esterline Control Systems	8525 is a global family: a branch of this family is qualified as per EN3646 or ASNE standards, another branch corresponds to all the customized derivates SOURIAU is able to design for most demanding customers. 8525 connectors series uses a self-locking mechanism with bayonet. This design is a quick coupling that saves time during systems assembly. All the experience acquired in aerospace industry guarantee a high level of confidence in terms of quality. This widely used connector family offers a large range of layouts available, either to transmit signal or power, or a mix of them. For harsher environment, we delivered a stainless steel version of this standard that is able to withstand a very long salt spray duration. Submitted to various environment constrains, this connector family will always guarantee a proper and effective sealing at connector interface and between the connector and le cables, due to its front and rear silicone elastomers parts. MB Series - High Density Rectangular Connector	Esterline Control Systems	MB connectors are the ideal choice for extreme signaling applications with high vibration level, thanks to a robust lever locking mechanism. An anti-jack-knife system, a guide plate on plug and a wide entry docket contact allow smooth and reliable mating. Easy wiring process and reduced parts number make the MB connectors easy to assemble and ideally suited for applications with dimensional requirements. In addition to this, the 360° shielding capacity of the MSG guarantees a high electrical performance to your equipment.
MSM Series - High Performance Cable Connector	Esterline Control Systems	MSM connectors are available with a wide range of sizes and layouts, from 7 to 75 positions. Guiding pins and sockets, turnable jackscrews, a large choice of cable hoods, pin protection shrouds and discrimination pins make this connector range a truly versatile system to answer all of your needs. MSM connectors are equipped with jackscrew locking mechanism for a secured connection. The MSM series had been developed to be compliant with NFF 93426 – HE 621-22 and MIL-C-28478 specifications. The range is also UL recognized (file number: E238675) and UL94-V0 recognized. MSM connector series can be connected to a MSO rectangular boardmount connector. MSM uses the standard #16 Trim Trio contacts. Contacts to be ordered separately according to your cable specification. In addition, the MSM cable connector series can be offered with a full range of hardware and accessories. ELIOBEAM Termini Series	Esterline Control Systems	ELIOBEAM termini is the expanded beam solution issued from ELIO® optical contacts. It is ideal for harsh environment as no physical contact is achieved. It fits all standard EN4531 ELIO® physical contact cavities. The ELIOBEAM fiber optics termini are designed around a robust 2.5mm metal ferrule, embedding the lens. It has the same fit&form as the traditional ELIO® physical contact termini and the assembly is also very similar The insertion and retention inside the connector is ensured by a bayonet locking mechanism without any special tool. The termini integrates a seal inside the rear boot, thus the connection is sealed from the rear side without a backshell or a grommet. The 8D ELIO® range covers layout from 1 to 24 ways in all type of material shell. ELIOBEAM can also be adapted in all #8 cavities of 8D 38999 serie III connector and ARINC 600 connector thanks to the ELIO® AQ adaptor In the female insert, the termini are flushed to the insert surface, thus removing the traditional dust collecting socket cavity design. The same termini part number can adapt tight or loose structure cable. The fiber optic termini is keyed for better vibration withstanding and optical performances repeatability Multimode contact - Insertion Loss (IL): < 0.7dB over 95% of the samples as per EN2591-601 < 1.0dB maximum on 100% of the samples after tests
8525 Hermetic Series	Esterline Control Systems	8525 connectors are the combination of pressure robustness and compactness and are used for sensors and space constrained applications. The hermetic receptacle connector with stainless steel housing and bayonet coupling interface allow a very quick mating. The passivated stainless steel housing is suited to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The connector is available in solder flange for compactness and perfect hermeticity, in square flange configuration for an easy installation and in jam-nut for a simple replacement.
