Increasing numbers of sensors, such as cameras, radars and lidars are being deployed on vehicles to make them safer, smarter and more automated. The data generated by these sensors along with other inputs as V2X communications, needs to be processed and combined (or fused together) to perceive the environment around the vehicle more accurately and reliably, to enable better and safer decisions.
