Application Overview

Smart meters are a key component of the updated national infrastructure and smart grid systems. The benefit to consumers is that they have more visibility into their consumption habits and can adjust accordingly. From a supplier standpoint, they can use intelligence and analytics to better predict periods of peak demand and adapt to the grid's needs as necessary. Smart meters are not just to measure electricity but also natural gas, water, and other utilities.
