Access Control
详情介绍
Overview
Access control systems control the access of authorized personnel into buildings and rooms. Access control systems are widely used to protect and prevent leaking of private and business information and strengthen security.
Access control comes in the form of physical security and security of communication systems such as a network. Here, we deal with physical security.
Systems that refuse access to unauthorized personnel may use PIN codes, magnetic strip cards, smart cards, fingerprints, and so on to verify the identity of a person before performing an action such as opening a door. In addition to access control, the system also possesses an interface for interacting with various access media in order to verify identity, and a screen for displaying the results.
Access control systems require an interface for various access media, an LCD controller, other necessary functions such as high current output, LAN or USB functions for interacting with external sources.
Renesas offers the SH7720 with LCD controller for display control, comprehensive peripheral functions in the form of USB function and USB host, and a built-in multimedia card interface and infrared communication module, which is ideally suited for these applications.
