Electric Impact Driver
详情介绍
Overview
Electric impact drivers tighten a screw by applying impact in the direction of rotation, allowing a tight bond to be formed more efficiently compared to electric drivers. Currently, there is a large amount of interest in DIY (Do It Yourself), so the use of electric power tools is becoming widespread. Conventional electric impact drivers (electric power tools) contain a motor with a component called a brush which passes an electric current through coils inside the motor. Some recent electric power tools, however, have begun to use a motor without a brush, a so-called “brushless DC motor”. The brushless DC motor without the expendable item of the brush has the advantages of easier maintenance, excellent durability, and superior rotation efficiency.
Renesas offers the RL78/G14 Group and RL78/G1F Group suitable for controlling the brushless DC motor of electric tools. With its high-functional timers and good cost performance, the RL78/G14 Group and RL78/G1F Group achieves efficient motor drive and contributes to eco-friendliness by prolonging battery lifetime. In addition, by providing a high efficiency power MOSFET as a inverter circuit for motor drive, and Battery Management IC to enhance the safety of the battery, Renesas comprehensively delivers the best solutions for electric power tools.
