Overview
Table top multi-cooker is getting popular when family enjoy Hot-Pot at home instead of a portable cassette gas range. Conventionally it can boil and fry simply but recently many table top multi-cooker is corresponding various cooking mode such as boil, fry, deep fry, steam etc. It is easy to realize to have functions that firepower adjustment with thermal sensor, Timer cooking, Sound response or voice guidance, various cooking mode of delicate firepower adjusting sequence by MCU control.
Renesas Electronics offers the RL78/L1x Series and R8C/Lx Series, which has A/D converter for sensor input and LCD driver for display for Table top multi-cooker. Also RL78 Group can be realized small count capacitive touch key which is getting common in these years by software.
