Airbag System
详情介绍
Overview
The use of satellite collision sensors in airbag systems is increasing, with the aim of providing a higher level of passenger safety in the event of an accident. MCUs must deliver powerful performance in order to be able to process at high speed the large volume of data input by these sensors. There is also a need for flexible peripheral interfaces such as high-speed SPIs* for communication with peripheral devices, timer modules for cooperative control with other ECUs, and CAN modules.
Based on an extensive product lineup ranging from the low to the high end of the market, Renesas offers solutions for all sorts of safety systems, from passenger detection to airbag unit control. We also supply squib drivers and sensor ASICs based on analog products that have an extensive track record in automotive applications conforming to a system approach.
