The roof control module, usually positioned in the overhead control units, includes a variety of components and functionalities depending on the carmakers requests and the car class. It can include reading lights, variable interior lighting, vehicle data communication and control, sunroof operation and optionally sensors for anti-theft systems, for light, rain and humidity.
ST offers all the components required for different roof control module implementation, including actuators (high and low side), advanced regulators, sensors, microcontrollers (with integrated data communication) and a variety of standard products.
